“At this level, when you’re doing the same thing every day, the fun and joy of being with the people you’re doing it with really add to that,” Bea explained. For her, the connection among Creamline players transcends the court. “We’re playing for more than ourselves, and that honestly feels a lot deeper.”

Bea also reflected on the intensity of Creamline’s matches, particularly their pursuit of a historic Grand Slam. Among their most challenging games, she recalled the Invitational Conference finals against Signal. “It was so hard for me personally,” Bea admitted. “They read us so well, and adjustments were necessary. The sheer difficulty of that game made the win extra special.”

Her collegiate years at Ateneo also played a pivotal role in shaping her approach to the game. “Being under leaders like Alyssa Valdez gave me a sense of culture where the team always comes first,” she said. The lessons in teamwork and resilience from Ateneo remain foundational to her professional success.

Despite her accolades, Bea continues to seek growth, particularly in her blocking and attacks. “As an athlete, you want to improve in every aspect. I still have a lot to work on.”

Bea emphasized that playing in the Philippines offers a unique experience, one fueled by the unwavering passion of volleyball fans. “The atmosphere here is unmatched. The love and energy from the crowd motivate us to give our best.”

Her journey highlights the power of dedication, the strength of teamwork, and the unifying passion for volleyball that continues to elevate the sport in the Philippines.
